Beth Ahearn has been with Maine Conservation Voters since 2012 as the lobbyist/political director. She works to elect conservation and clean energy champions and on passing climate change and clean energy legislation. Beth lobbied for several conservation organizations prior to joining MCV and was Maine Audubon’s staff attorney in the early 90s. Graduating from Brown with a degree in environmental studies (the first year the degree was offered) and from the University of Maine School of Law, she always wanted to be an environmental advocate. Beth lives in Freeport with her husband and has two adult children. She enjoys “messing about in boats” as well as biking and skiing.
